You haven't taken a full breath since about 2019.
SPACIOUS
Six weeks of private 1:1 work, built around your life and your physiology, so the week stops costing you everything.
You’ve done the strategy work, the mindset work, the wellness work, and can calm yourself through any moment you could write your own book — but sitting in the background is a nervous system that hasn't caught up to match your life-load.
From the fire-break, through the expansion, all the way to curiosity, and fun —specifically yours.
THERE’S A VERSION OF YOUR DAY NOBODY OUTSIDE YOUR DOOR EVER SEES.
You got the email off. Got them out the door. Put the washing on before your call, because if it doesn't go on now it might not go on at all.
You're mentally checking whether Wednesday still works after that phone call. There's a form somewhere that needs completing by next Friday.
And you went from one thing to the next thing to the next thing, to the next and didn’t even notice you weren’t breathing until you gasped, the way you have most days for about six years, and nobody has ever once mentioned it to you.
That's not a metaphor. That's the actual life, that’s the mechanism, and it's a very large part of why everything costs you what it costs you.
You're not burnt out, by the way. You can't be. Far too many things depend and rely on you for that to be available.
You're still doing fine, functioning okay, still delivering, still getting ahead while catching everything else — and entirely aware of how narrow the ledge you’re teetering on is.
That's exactly why I’ve created this work.
WHY NOTHING YOU'VE TRIED HAS MADE THE SPACE
You've done a lot. The therapy. The mindset work. The strategy. The breathwork weekend that felt transformative on Saturday and had gone by Tuesday. The supplements in three formats.
All of it helped. None of it held.
Here's what’s really going on, because I did exactly that for about a decade.
It was landing on a layer that was never built.
Everything you've been handed is a regulation tool — a way of bringing yourself down in the moment. And on a system with something underneath it, those work brilliantly.
You haven't got something underneath it. So Thursday night works, and by Friday lunchtime you're back where you were, and you conclude you need to be more consistent. Despite your calendar looking like a Christmas tree on Times Square with beautifully coloured time slots to hold the boundaries.
You don't need to be more consistent. You're the most consistent, dedicated, knowledgable person you know.
THE CAPACITY CAKE
There's layers to this, and the stack of the layers are the whole thing.
Four layers. Compounding to create lasting change rather than an isolated experience. We work through them in sequence, and jumping to the top is the single most common reason why the women I work with haven’t ‘got there’ with work that should absolutely be working.
Layer 1: THE FIRE BREAK
Getting back what's already yours. Not adding — reclaiming.
In the body: sleep that actually restores you, rather than eight hours you wake up from like you've been hit by a van.
In the week: the energy leaking out through the cracks — the timing, the transitions, the fifteen small decisions before nine — gets plugged.
In the business: you stop paying for every good decision with a bad one somewhere else.
Most women arrive doing so much already that there's no room in the system for one more thing. This is where you start getting a return on effort you're already spending.
Layer 2. FEEL IT
Where you get more than one gear.
In the body: you can go up on purpose and come back down on purpose, rather than one flat setting held in place by will.
In the week: the school phone call lands and you handle it, and then it's over — instead of it colouring everything until Friday.
In the business: you make the decision in the room instead of chewing it for four days.
Regulation is’t only serene. It doesn't mean you stop getting angry or stressed. That isn't regulation, that's anaesthetic. It means the road can be as bumpy as it likes and you stay connected enough to the car to handle it.
Layer 3. CURIOSITY
Where load starts making you stronger rather than emptier.
In the body: is the space to test and play. You get stronger instead of flatter.
In the week: the hard week happens and you come out of it with something left.
In the business: you take the thing on because you want to, not after doing the sum on whether you'd survive it.
This is also the fun bit. When you're unconsciously limited, you don't know what fun is here — you can't play from a braced system, so you default to the safe version of everything without ever noticing you're doing it.
Layer 4. PLAY
Where the meaning changes.
In the body: the sensation that used to read as danger reads as information.
In the week: the thing lands, and it costs you a week instead of a quarter. Not because it got smaller.
In the business: you stop sizing what you want against what you can survive.
WHAT IT THIS ALL ABOUT?
Your programme is built around your data, your week, your household, your life. This is about YOU, for YOU — not a standard protocol with your name at the top that doesn’t realised it can all go t*ts up at any moment. Which means this survives the Tuesday it all goes sideways, because it was designed for that Tuesday. That Wednesday. That X, Y and Z.
What’s happening? Find out what your human system is actually doing — not how you'd describe it — with a full overview assessment in week one. So you stop guessing which technique to try next out of the 50 you’ve saved from socials. Even though I know you've probably read more about nervous systems than most people teaching it.
Walk away with proof it's moving. We re-measure as we go, so you can see the change in front of you rather than taking my word for it. No vibes.
Message me the moment it’ wobbling, not at your next scheduled slot — because the interesting things happen on a Tuesday afternoon, not in a diary entry.
Commit to six weeks, not six months. Long enough to shift the base, short enough that you can see the end of it from where you're standing (because you don't know what's happening this afternoon, let alone in half a year).
You don’t always need to know where it’s going to know it’s worth going there.
BEFORE WE GO FURTHER, ONE THING…
This is for you.
Did that make you feel a bit ick. The lump in your throat, any tightness in your chest. You’re not here so you can be a better mother. Not so your child regulates. Not as an investment in everybody else that happens to pass through you on the way.
This is for you.
And there’s a very good reason why this becomes so powerful.
Because you have spent years being told that looking after yourself is a service to the people who depend on you. Every book. Every programme. Every well-meaning person at the school gate.
I'm not going to do that (well, almost not).
You are a person who deserves a life that doesn't cost you this much. That's the whole reason.
Will your child benefit? Almost certainly, and it isn't mystical — co-regulation is well evidenced, and a nervous system with room in it changes the ones around it. Your house will get easier. But life doesn’t get dull, it becomes brighter, more vibrant, full and fun.
But those are a consequence. It isn't the purpose, and I’m not going to have you dancing round the kitchen to move through a challenging moment (unless you really want to.)
You've got a child, or more than one, who needs more from you than most children need of anyone. The appointments. The meetings. The systems that don't bend. Holding the line for them. What’s possible for them.
You’re running a business. Coach, consultant, mentor, educator, practitioner. You built it partly for the freedom, and so you'd have the flexibility your family needed — and that flexibility is now load-bearing, and quite possibly so is the income.
You're capable. Extremely. You're the one everybody leans on, and you'd be uncomfortable being described as struggling, because you're not. You're managing, brilliantly, at a cost nobody has ever added up.
You're ambitious, and you have no intention of scaling that back.
IS THIS YOU?
WHAT THIS ASKS OF YOU
You willing to start where you actually are, not where you'd prefer to be. Most women place themselves two phases further along than the data says. That's not a character flaw, it's structural — you can't read your own system from inside it — but it does mean the first week can be humbling.
You have to let it be unglamorous. The first layer, The fire-break, is small and quiet and you will likely not post about it. That's deliberate. Anything impressive enough to photograph is something you'd have to maintain, and this is about having more space, not more to do.
And you have to actually message me when it goes askew. Not wait until it's tidy. The women who get the most from this are the ones who let the work get messy, get curious, and send the voice note from the car park.
This isn't for you if you want a protocol you can think you’ll do, and then leave it on the shelf to gather dust. Or if you're in crisis and need clinical care — I'd say so on a call. If you want somebody to tell you to slow down, it might be me? Initially perhaps yes, but if you want to stay there, I'm not going to ask you to want less.
INVESTMENT: THE LAYERS
How the work is structured
The work starts with a six-week block.
Six weeks, because you don't know what's happening this afternoon, let alone in six months — and I'm not going to ask you to predict a life that doesn't work like that.
Long enough for something real to shift and show up in the data. Short enough that you can see the end of it from where you're standing.
At the end of the first block you'll know where you are, what's moved, and what's next. Then you decide.
There's no ladder here and nobody's being held anywhere. Some women do the first block and take what they've got. Most carry on. Some come back a year later when something's changed.
LAYER ONE - NOW
— THE FIRE-BREAK (Restore)
A fire break is a gap you create deliberately.
That's what this is. Not rest. Not a retreat. A deliberate gap, cut into a life that hasn't had one in years — so we can see what's actually happening underneath.
Understand — your demand, and what you can currently absorb.
We assess first — what your system is actually doing rather than how you'd describe it, with sleep, breathing, stress load. Then we separate your demand into the bit that's chosen, the bit that's unavoidable, and the bit that's quietly modifiable and nobody's ever pointed out.
Not every problem needs more effort. Sometimes the move is to take something off before you add anything.
You can't tell those apart while you're this depleted. That's not a failure of insight — it's what depletion does.
WHAT’S INCLUDED in Layer One
Three private virtual sessions with Nicolette, over 6 weeks. Bespoke, responsive, paced to your data, potential and nervous system capacity — not a .pdf protocol with your name on it.
Direct access between live sessions
Private WhatsApp access between sessions because the curious things happen on a Tuesday afternoon, not just in sessions. Direct access for questions, observations, experiments, and the moments that matter.
Custom programme, your data
Built around your physiology, your life, your load, your training.

HOW THE WORK IS STRUCTURED
We work in layers, because when you need the fire-break, committing to the 6 months ahead feels impossible especially when this afternoon could go t*ts up. I know, and this is exactly why I build it this way.
Some women take one layer at a time and now knowing where it’s going but knowing that it’s worth going there. Some are ready to go all in on all three.
You'll know where you are, what's shifted, and what's next. Then you decide.
Each layer compounding. There's no ladder, no graduation, and nobody being held anywhere. You just choose how and when. But this is about expansion, more life in your life, spaciousness. Not more problems, labels, dysfunctions. It’s about possibility.
The work starts with a six-week block.
Six weeks, because you don't know what's happening this afternoon, let alone in six months — and I'm not going to ask you to predict a life that doesn't work like that.

LAYER TWO AND LAYER THREE - LATER
LAYER TWO — Feel It (Regulate)
Build the range.
Where you get more than one gear. Where you can go up on purpose and come back down on purpose, rather than one flat setting held in place by will.
This is where the signal comes back — where things start arriving at their actual size, so you stop having to work out what matters on a Sunday night.
LAYER THREE — Curiosity (Resilience)
Put the load back on deliberately.
Where load starts making you stronger rather than emptier. Where we test what you can actually hold now, and find out that it's considerably more than you thought.
This is the fun one. And it's the one you can't do first, which is why most women have been stuck for years — they started here.
LAYER FOUR - AFTER
LAYER FOUR — Play
The Room for women who've done the work and want somewhere to keep doing it.
Ongoing group support, the occasional walk or meet-up, and a room full of women who are carrying a lot and have no intention of carrying less.
MEET ME,
Twenty-three years of holding, growing and expanding a neurodivergent family is where my story is.
Most people in this space are talking from material. I'm talking from my life.
I write this with a massive smile on my face because it’s been a journey, and it’s been amazing. There were highs and very low bits, and the long stretch of holding the line for what was right when nobody else was going to. There's a great deal more than I'm going to put in an about-me section, because my story doesn't only involve me.
Professionally, I came to this as a movement professional and kept pulling at a thread. I followed it from movement into stress resilience, into breath science, into the nervous system, and eventually into the physiology underneath all of it — because at some point my own tools stopped giving me anything back, and nobody could tell me why.
All of it while holding a family life where the week has never once been the week. Where the systems everybody else fits neatly into simply don't bend, so you bend instead. Where decisions get made about your child by people in rooms you're not in — although I made sure I was in them.
Building a business that had to hold clients properly, alongside a life that could dissolve at ten past nine on a Tuesday.
And doing it well enough that from the outside nobody would have the first clue what it took to make it look like that.
I didn't come at this looking for a business to build. I came at it because I had a question nobody could answer: I'm doing every single one of these things properly, it isn't working, and why can nobody tell me why.
And I'm not writing this so you know we've been through it. I'm writing it because of where it landed.
I've got the science behind how I did it now. Which means I can hand it to other women rather than watching them work it out the hard way — and honestly, that prospect is the most exciting thing I've done.
Because you rarely get to see the brightness on the other side while you're still in it, wading through treacle that's arriving faster than you can wade.
You don't need the years I took.
You need the order. That's the bit I can actually give you — so you can go and find the exciting part yourself.
IF YOU’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THE RIGHT MOMENT. THE QUITER MONTH. THE ONE WHERE THINGS SETTLE DOWN A BIT.
You've already been waiting for that for about five years. I did the same.
If you say yes, here's six months from now. The thing lands — and it will land, it always does — and it costs you an hour at most rather than the whole week. You get to the end of a hard term with something left. You go away and come back actually restored, instead of needing a week to recover from the recovery.
You're in the room. Actually in it, rather than hovering above it running everybody's evening from a distance. You hear what your child is saying, rather than managing the next twenty minutes while they say it.
And the thing you've been looking at and thinking not this year — you look at it again and the sum comes out differently.
If you say no, here's the same six months. Which will be fine, because you're extremely good at fine. The sequence will hold. You'll catch everything.
And the recovery will take a bit longer than it does now, and you'll adjust your expectations about that again without mentioning it, and the next thing you'd love to do will get the same answer as the last one.
The last quiet question
You're wondering whether it'll work for you specifically — because your life genuinely is more unpredictable than most, and everything you've tried has assumed a clean run you never get.
That's precisely why this starts with an assessment rather than a plan, and why the work gets built around your week rather than around a template. I'm not going to hand you a protocol that assumes Tuesday holds. I've never had a Tuesday hold either. I’ve never had one week the same as another.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
No.
This is physiological work — assessment-led, measurable, focused on the systems underneath how you feel rather than on talking through why you feel it. It sits alongside therapy perfectly well.
-
Breath is one of the tools and I've gone a long way into the science of it. But if you've done breathwork and it didn't hold, this is exactly why — a technique needs a base to land on, and the base goes first.
-
You haven't, and this isn't an addition.
The first phase is almost entirely about reclaiming what's already leaking out, and sequencing what you're doing rather than stacking new things on top.
We start with two minutes, not twenty. The time you haven't got becomes the time you do.
-
It will, at some point.
That's rather the point of doing this with somebody who understands that week, rather than following a programme that assumes you've got a clean run.
-
Probably, and I'd expect it to. Co-regulation is well evidenced. But it isn't the purpose and we won't be aiming at it. This is yours.
